Why Sign

American Sign Language is an important developmental tool that will help your child acquire a foundation for thinking and language (signed or spoken). Learning just a few simple signs will help you start to communicate and connect with your child!

Many children with hearing loss experience devastating delays in language development. When my daughter was diagnosed, there were few good options for learning ASL. Today, despite advances in technology, a whopping 75% of parents with children who are deaf or hard of hearing can't sign fluently.  So I took matters into my own hands and created the class I wish I'd had back then. It's called Sign It ASL. It's for parents like you who want to learn ASL in a fun and easy way.

Through the generosity of our partners, we are sharing our new online class free of charge to families when they need it most. To qualify, you must be:

  • a parent of a deaf or hard of hearing child 36 months or younger
  • currently residing in the United States
  • willing to provide qualifying documentation

Don't qualify? Don't worry!

Sign It ASL is an affordable way for your whole family to learn American Sign Language. Watch the videos and take the quizzes as many times as you want, from any internet connected-device, for less than $8 per lesson! Save 20% when you buy unit 1, 2, and 3 together:
